Pancho Brañas

Drummer and percussionist with more than 30 years of experience, and Superior Professor of Percussion from the Superior Conservatory of Music of Córdoba,
Pancho has done his teaching work as a Percussion teacher for 6 years in addition to numerous masterclasses in Spain and abroad.

 

He has done his teaching work as a Percussion teacher for 6 years in addition to numerous masterclasses in Spain and abroad, and has recorded more than 50 albums as a session drummer for different artists and has released two albums of his own music.

Pancho has written the Method “Flamenco Rudiments to the Snare & Bass Drum”, in addition to making numerous didactic videos on the teaching of Drums in Flamenco, and has performed countless concerts throughout Spain and tours outside of Spain in Morocco, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland…

He has also played with many artists highlighting El Pele, Cherokee, Las Ketchup, Jorge Pardo, Emilio Maya, Sergio Gomez "El Colorao", Vandalus...

Pancho has recorded with artists such as Enrique Morente, Chano Dominguez, Chochi Heredia, El Maca, Ruben Dantas, Miguel Rios
