COMMUNITY OUTREACH
& CULTURAL EDUCATION

At Admission Nation, we believe in making flamenco accessible to everyone. Music and dance can inspire confidence, self-esteem, motivation, and joy.

Through our community programs, we bring the passion and artistry of flamenco to diverse venues, enriching lives while preserving and celebrating cultural heritage.

Senior Center Performances

We bring the joy and energy of flamenco directly to senior communities through intimate, engaging performances that:

  • Create meaningful connections through music and dance

  • Stimulate memories and emotions through traditional Spanish melodies

  • Encourage participation through rhythmic clapping and simple movements

  • Provide seniors with engaging cultural experiences

Kay Takahashi

My flamenco journey began in New York in 2012, and my passion for this art form has continued to grow ever since. I’ve been fortunate to study with incredible maestros, each of whom has deepened my understanding and love of flamenco.

What I love most is sharing this tradition with others. Through community programs, local events, and intimate gatherings, I hope to create spaces where people can experience the joy, power, and beauty of flamenco firsthand.

Flamenco is more than something I practice — it is part of who I am, and I’m honored to share it with others.

Flamenco, Heritage & Discovering Your Power Through Flamenco — Live at Van Vleck House & Gardens

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Admission Nation brought the fire and soul of flamenco to the historic Van Vleck House & Gardens in Montclair, New Jersey, and the community showed up beautifully.

This video captures the spirit of that unforgettable afternoon: a live performance and hands-on workshop honoring the deep cultural roots of flamenco while inspiring the next generation to find their voice, rhythm, and confidence.

A Stage for Everyone

At the heart of this event was Discovering Your Power Through Flamenco, a space where participants explored confidence through movement, expression through art, and connection through shared experience. Because flamenco has always been more than dance, it is a declaration.

Be Part of What Comes Next

What you see in this video is just one moment in a much longer story: a story of cultural preservation, community connection, and the belief that art belongs to everyone.

Help us write the next chapter. Your generosity helps keep flamenco alive in our schools, parks, stages, and hearts.

Family Fun Flamenco at Montclair Library

Bringing Flamenco to Life For Everyone

Since 2016, Admission Nation has been committed to making flamenco accessible, joyful, and transformative for all. We believe flamenco is not only a performance tradition, but also a living cultural art form that belongs in schools, museums, senior centers, parks, and community spaces.

More Than a Show

Our Family Fun Flamenco lecture-demonstration brings together entertainment and education in one engaging experience. Audiences of all ages discover the rich cultural history of flamenco while encountering its essential elements: the percussive fire of zapateado (footwork), the soulful strum of guitarra (guitar), the raw emotion of cante (song), and the playful click of castañuelas (castanets).

Audience participation is woven into every performance, and each session closes with an open Q&A to encourage curiosity, connection, and discovery.

Why It Matters

Through flamenco, we build bridges across generations, cultures, and communities. Your support helps us bring Family Fun Flamenco to even more schools, libraries, and public spaces across the USA and beyond.

Help Us Spread the Duende

Duende, that ineffable, spine-tingling magic at the heart of flamenco, is meant to be shared. Your support makes it possible for us to bring Family Fun Flamenco into more communities, more classrooms, and more hearts across the USA and beyond.

Kind words

Thank you for the beautiful and educational workshop!  Everyone was excited for your visit and only had good things to say.

Please extend my thanks to the other artists.  Their skill is superb.  The combination of vocals, guitar, and dance was a sight to behold.

I don’t believe that many of the people in attendance have had an opportunity to experience professional flamenco; the entire afternoon was perfect.

Thank you again!

— Art High School, Newark

Thank you for your wonderful flamenco show, performance, and goodie bags.

My family was thankful and enjoyed the whole show. As for my mom, she was well pleased with your show and human touch.
