Pablo Rubén

Pablo is considered one of the best internationally known pianists. He is Self-taught in the language of flamenco piano art and graduated from the Superior Conservatory of Music of Granada. He studied with Gloria Emparán, Jose Luis Hidalgo, Enrique Rueda, Luis Megías, Chano Domínguez or Albert Bover.

 

His roots in flamenco are from growing up in Granada and Romani families. He studies with Cujón Antonio, founder of the Granada zambra. His musical background was enriched with other styles such as classical music, jazz, Afro-Caribbean, Indian, pop, tango, funk, and electronic music, leading him to create his language: Flamenco on the piano without imitating the guitar.
